Learn how to start an official FIDM Fashion Club. Just follow these five easy steps. (If your school already has a fashion club, no problem--easily convert it to an official FIDM Fashion Club by completing the five steps below. It's even faster because you can complete steps 2 and 4 before your interview!) Note: You do not have to wait until the application process is finished to start having meetings! As long as your school permits it, you can get started right away.
If you have any trouble submitting the form please email us at fashionclubmail@fidm.com and move on to Step 2!
Download and complete a My Fashion Club Business Plan and fill out the Administration Approval and Codes of Conduct Form.
If you need any help or have trouble downloading the forms, email fashionclubmail@fidm.com.
Mail the completed forms to:
FIDM Fashion Club
919 S. Grand Avenue
Los Angeles, California, 90015
You will need Adobe Reader to open the forms. If you do not have Adobe Reader please download it here.
Once we receive the forms, we will set up a mandatory Official Welcome Phone Call with you and your advisor. We will review your business plan together to ensure us of your commitment and dedication to the club.
After the Welcome Phone Call, print out the FIDM Fashion Club Attendance Sheets and take them to your club meetings for your members to sign-in. This is how we track eligibility of our members for the FIDM Fashion Club Perks. PLEASE NOTE: Your club is not considered active until your first Sign-Up Sheets are received
(If you are converting an existing club into an official FIDM Fashion Club please complete this step before the interview)
You will have 30 days to complete and return them to:
FIDM Fashion Club
919 S. Grand Ave.
Los Angeles, CA 90015
OR, you can email them to: fashionclubmail@fidm.com.
Keep in touch! You'll need to turn in your Meeting and Activity Report Forms every month to maintain active status and eligibility for all contests, prizes, and scholarships that are exclusively for FIDM Fashion Clubs.
