What is a High School FIDM FashionClub?
A
FashionClub is a group of individuals with similar interests in
Fashion, Design, Shopping, Sewing, Decorating, Modeling, and/or
Beauty—anything related to Fashion- who have gone through the application process and been approved by FIDM. FashionClub members meet at least twice per month to
share ideas, learn new things, explore Fashion opportunities, and
showcase their talents.
Who can start a new FIDM FashionClub Chapter?
Any
currently enrolled high school student- freshman to senior – is
eligible for consideration to start a high school FIDM FashionClub.
Where can FIDM FashionClub Chapters be started?
FIDM
Fashion Club Chapters can be started in any high school located in the
United States. Sorry, we are unable to accommodate any other groups at
his time. Permission from the school must be obtained before starting
any kind of club on school property.
When can I start?
You can submit your completed My FashionClub packet
to FIDM for consideration at any time. Once approved, a representative from FIDM
FashionClub will contact you.
FIDM Chapter Membership is subject to rules and review.
Can I win a Scholarship for starting a new FIDM FashionClub Chapter?
Yes! Any
member of an approved FIDM FashionClub Chapter (Club Leader/Club
Member) is eligible to enter the FIDM Fashion Club Scholarship
Competition in the Spring of either their Junior or Senior year. PLEASE NOTE: The My FashionClub Business Plan submitted for Chapter
Membership is part of the application process to start a club only and is not an entry into the Scholarship Competition. The My
FashionClub Scholarship Competition is a separate, but additional
opportunity made available exclusively for FIDM FashionClub Chapter
Members.
